Transformer Services Supervisor

MVA has an excellent opportunity for a Transformer Services Supervisor.

We are seeking individuals with five to seven years experience leading crews in assembling, vacuum filling and commissioning new transformers, as well as transformer repairs, and degassing of oil filled transformers. The position will require travel to customer locations nationwide to perform service work.

Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: On the road

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Three Week on, One Week off
• Over Time after 40, Double Time on Sunday and Triple Time for Holiday

Responsibilities include:

• Safety Compliance

• Client Communication

• Transformer Installation and Repair

Qualifications:

• OSHA 30 Hour

• Strong Transformer Oil Processing and Vacuum Filling knowledge

• Transformer Assembly and Re-gasketing

• Electrical Testing including: Doble, SFRA, CT Testing, TTR and Insulation Resistance

• Transformer Repairs

• Ability to read blueprints and nameplate data

• Forklift, manlift and rigging certification

• Strong communication skills

• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel

Additional Qualifications (Plus):

• 765 kV EHV work experience

• Energized Hot Oil Reclamation processing

• Class A CDL

• Knowledge of Load Tap Changer Repairs

• Crane Certification

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
