At MVA, experience is one of our greatest assets, and Dan Haren, VP of Field Services, brings a tremendous amount of it to our team.
Throughout his career in the electrical power industry, Dan has built extensive hands-on experience with transformers and field service operations. His background includes traveling around the world to train directly at transformer manufacturing facilities and customer factories, giving him firsthand knowledge of transformer design, assembly, maintenance, repair, and industry best practices. That experience continues to play an important role at MVA, even though Dan may not spend as much time working directly in the field today.
In his leadership role, Dan puts decades of practical knowledge to work supporting our technicians, planning and overseeing complex transformer projects, and helping ensure our customers receive safe, efficient, and high-quality service. From routine maintenance and repairs to large-scale transformer installations, commissioning, and emergency outage response, his field experience provides valuable insight into the challenges our teams and customers face.
Dan is also committed to developing the next generation of transformer professionals. By sharing his knowledge and experience with our field teams, he helps strengthen the skills, safety practices, and technical expertise that allow MVA to continue delivering dependable transformer services across the country.
